About The Artist
Stacey Cushner studied fine art at Brandeis University, received her MFA in Visual Art at Lesley University's College of Art and Design. She teaches drawing and painting at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Her work was included in SCOPE Art Basel, Basel Switzerland, Art Southampton, and is included in private collections. She has also shown her work in Canada. She has received prizes for her work, including an honorable mention at the Hollis Taggert Galleries in New York City and at the Blanche Ames National Exhibition in Massachusetts. She was awarded a residency at The WYE in Berlin, Germany and in Holland with the OBRAS foundation. She was a 2017 artist in residence with Red Gate Gallery in Beijing, China and is represented by Baozhen Art Gallery in Beijing. Her work was featured in The Art Guide, New York, New York. She maintains a studio in Boston, MA.
