My second attempt to sculpt life size. "BLACK TUESDAY ... 1929 stock market crash" is plaster cast and coated in iron. I found that iron coating is a incredible surface to create any patina. This piece is what I call an enigmatic sculpt. The missing left arm holding the alligator briefcase and the entire right arm missing. The finish on this piece started with 800 grit sandpaper and finished with 3000 grit. I spent weeks hand polishing this piece to look like old rusted iron.
