About The Artist
When Howie Ronay was twenty years old, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease. After nearly a year of treatment, he received a clean bill of health, and with it, a new appreciation for life and an ability to see the positive in every situation. Years later, that optimistic lens manifested in his photography.
Since 2014, Howie has been finding unexpected beauty in overlooked objects like trash cans, dumpsters and fire hydrants. Howie’s work was selected by Robert Redford's Sundance Foundation for exhibit at their Sundance Cinema galleries. He has also been featured in several publications and exhibited at fundraisers and private events, where Ronay and his photography prove to all who enjoy it, that there truly is beauty everywhere and in all things.
