About The Artist

Doris Raecke's work has been presented in dozens of art exhibitions and competitions in different parts of the world, specially Venezuela, where she spent most of her life. It was selected for display at three International Watercolor Biennials in Mexico; the First Andean Watercolor exhibition in Cuenca, Ecuador; Aquarela Internacional Sao Paolo / Brasil 2008 biennal, II International Watercolor Biennal 2011 in Spain, a special watercolor exhibition in Russia commemorating St. Peterburg´s tricentennial, as well as in other venues in Italy, Chile, Guatemala and Panama. She is an active member of the International Urban Sketchers and has been offering watercolor and urban sketching workshops in Venezuela and Germany.
