A new beginning with Mini Drawings The new series of drawings mark Gambasin's return to artistic production after a long period of inactivity. In them we immediately notice a change from a technical and stylistic point of view but, at the same time, important thematic and content homogeneity. The coexistence of the dimensions of the dream, understood as thought, and the real remains, in fact, a constant. The study of the inner world and the creative power of thought continues, also introducing hints of symbolic meanings, which recall the language of the unconscious, and esoteric, and develops further. If we observe all the works of the series as a whole and from a certain distance they might appear, thanks also to their small size, all very similar to each other. This is an effect that the author compares to what we might have when looking at a village from a high and distant point: all the houses would appear very similar to each other, giving shape to a homogeneous landscape. Only by getting closer we have the possibility to notice the particularities of each of these small works and to appreciate them in a more complete and conscious way. The backgrounds, even in their common indefiniteness, are actually different from each other, each of them representing a way in which thought originates, develops and expands. Similarly, the different figures in the foreground highlight the various facets with which reality imposes itself.
