About The Artist

I am a professional artist with an MFA and have been painting in oils for the last forty years. My most recent work is a series of the 21 California Missions which took 4 years to complete after traveling to each Mission with a camera and sketchbook. Growing up in California, my intent in painting the series was to recreate my cherished memories of fruit orchards, spanish missions and palm trees. I use the oil color medium to create a fresh and colorful painting. My work is harmonius and uplifting while having a strong prescence of atmosphere and intensity.
