About The Artist

Swirlism: The Art of Change, Interconnectedness and Motion…. I’ve painted since childhood, but when I moved Back East to focus on my writing career, I left my paints and canvases behind. After a 17-year hiatus I picked up the brushes again and to my surprise these whirling brush strokes emerged, a style entirely different than my previous work. Reminiscent of some of Van Gogh’s work, I call this Impressionist Style of art “Swirlism” or, as a friend called it, “Pointillism in Motion.“ This time-consuming technique and the nebulous imagery induced suitably reflects my world view that the boundaries of the corporal world are illusory, while in reality molecules and energy continuously intermingle and merge. The truth that We Are All One will better enable us to grapple with the challenges facing the Planet and her people.
