In creating The Weeper, Mathieu Isabelle, the artist, is denouncing human tendency to choose the wrong path. Ego, the destructing human engine, too often leads people to choose dishonesty, violence, selfishness, lust for power, revenge, and many other behaviours to which The Weeper is expressing his desolation towards human ignorance.
