This work is a response to the events surrounding us these last two and a half years. In the paintings my feelings of unknowing and uncertainty are expressed visually through the vibrant colors, though contained in spaces, express frantic movement eager to burst forth. The prints express the more controlled, aspect of my personal anxiety where the overlapping and entangled lines are contained calmly within the space given. A sense of waiting hand hope is expressed through the work.
