About The Artist
Stylistically speaking, my answer would be that it is universally enigmatic and, in some numinous way, mirrors what was and what is my life. No one artist, regardless of genre, movement, style, medium, or prominence, has influenced me more or less than any other. Picasso viewed his artistic endeavors as an ongoing investigation and thus allowed him great flexibility and freedom. Much of Modernism, and to some degree the current Post-Modernism era, was and is fueled by a single style, a popular trend, or something dictated as high art by individual patrons and critics. For me, I prefer the freedom to express myself in varying degrees of realism, abstraction, and surrealism. My content varies which is most likely a subconscious pedal brake, which assists me in keeping my artistic energy, infinite variations, and learning experiences flowing. Color, design and composition are fundamentals, which have always been a cornerstone of importance in my work.
