About The Artist
Michael Padwee, (b. 1942) has been taking photos and documenting the labor, anti-Vietnam war and social justice movements since the late 1960s. He exhibited his work in the New York metropolitan area as a member of the "Minority Photographers" group, and more recently as a member of the Long Island City Artists, the Cranbury (New Jersey) Digital Camera Club, and the IRVA (Inspired, Retired Visual Artists) collective in Brooklyn. Michael currently works on politically inspired photography, photo collages, surreal and architectural photography.
