This painting has a rich depth, achieved through its layered approach of mixed media and acrylic paint. I looked to create a sense of dimensionality by blending layers of colors and textures. The sunburst figures seem to emerge from the background, suggesting a separation between the two worlds here depicted. Other elements only add to the different levels, giving the viewer a sense of looking through various planes. The overall effect is an immersive composition that invites you to explore...the unknown.
