About The Artist

Born in 1946, Kawagoe uses washi paper, a form of traditional Japanese culture which has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Kawagoe creates worlds not possible through traditional painting. She is active in showing her work in venues in group exhibitions and art fairs.
