Pastel on Paper, 19”w. x 12”h., in 2004 I love rocky shores. Gentle waves do not interest me but the thundering tide energizes me as it breaks against the rocks. This is at the bottom of the cliffs of Heisler Park in Laguna Beach California. I often come here to be rejuvenated, for I sense the eternity of God here. On the day I began this pastel the words from Psalm 93:4 came to me, “mightier than the breakers of the sea - the Lord on high is mighty”.
