About The Artist
Sheetal Shaw is an American (Indian born) visual artist and designer working in clay, fiber, wood, metal and acrylics creating sculptures, modern objects, paintings interweaving personal narrative and cultural memory.
Sheetal grew up in New Delhi and immigrated to the US in 1999. She has a BA from University of New Delhi and a BFA from Arizona State University.
Selected shows include: Onishi Project Summer Group Show I; Art Expo, New York; Spectrum Indian Wells; Roots of Boteh sculptural installation for Scottsdale Public Art’s IN FLUX initiative; All Arizona Clay Exhibition, 10th International Ceramics Competition in Mino, Japan; and Visions in Clay in Stockton, California.
