Ivan Ninov Artist Sofia 1784, p.b. 131 tel. +359 879 039 454 e-mail: ivan_ninov@abv.bg Born 19th August 1946 in Tsonevo village, Varna district, Bulgaria. Lives and works in Sofia. 1960- graduated Art school in Sofia. Ninov works drawings and engravings performed in etching techniques, dry needle, lithography. Since 1969 he participates in youth and general art exhibitions and his first solo exhibition in 1972-73. His works are included in international biennials and representative exhibitions of Bulgarian fine art abroad: Belgrade, Budapest, Ibiza, Kanagawa, Krakow, Lodz, Ljubljana, Tokyo, Ujęce, Frdihshtadt, Fretten and others. Independent exhibitions abroad took place in 1981 and 1996 in Prague, in 1981 and 1997 in Bratislava, in 1991 in Munich, in 1997 in Vienna, Wittgenstein House, in 2014 in London, in 2017 in Budapest, in Gallery 55, Niš , Serbia 2019. Ivan Ninov's works are owned by the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, the city galleries in Burgas, Varna, Vratsa, Pleven, Plovdiv and others, the Library of Congress in Washington, USA, the Ludwig Collection in Cologne, Germany, galleries in Krakow, Poland, and Kanagawa, Japan as well as many private collections.
