About The Artist

Growing up in Montreal, I was immersed young in the arts and the different cultures that this city is home to. Rich with everything it has to offer, Montreal has been a real treasure for me to enrich my imagination.I have been developing my technique and refining it since then. I imagine all the possibilities that this medium offers me and I want to explore it further. Between family and work, my passion has often been overlooked. Because life sometimes gives us a second chance and I decided to seize it, for 2 1/2 years, I made the choice to devote most of my time to the expression of my heart and my imagination. In my workshop, I finally do what I love, which is expressing myself, arousing emotion and trying to seduce people! Getting my message across in aesthetic ways is my first goal by playing with transparency, light and textures. My technique, which is unorthodox, forces me to go through a lot of steps before the final result and flat work is not always easy. In addition, for each painting, I push my limits a little further. I handle wood knives to sculpt my reliefs, I paint with the handles of my brushes or cake spatulas, I play with mediums. Stained glass paint, acrylic, copper foil, are generally the 3 main mediums with which I work but, I do not set myself limits. I like to paint the links which unite us with the living beings of the planet; they are love, tenderness, but also indifference and cruelty. Because I believe an image is better than screaming and violence, it is with this that I express myself quietly. I give a voice to those who do not have one with the hope of arousing an emotion, a fraternal feeling for all living species on Earth. My works are an ode to life, a cry from the heart to preserve it!
