Complacency of people

Oil Painting 5X12 Exposed at The Kolin Museum, in Prague, Tcheck Republic THE COMPLACENCY OF PEOPLE Complacency of people is the fear, anguish, terror of having to live, or even one day the fear of war very. Fear of being a witness or victim to a terrible act at a time that we least expect it. It is also incomprehension of a world without pity and without heart, who does not hesitate to kill his neighbor to satisfy his thirst for vengeance, people who do not hesitate to bully poor children, defenseless women to satisfy their desire to win. Is there a reason to kill, bomb, destroy a population that has thousands of years of civilization? Is it possible that a couple of sound mind kill each other, and binds up their wounds together in a sweet indulgence, like a bitter old couple that is torn apart then to better weld together until the next bombing, which could be fatal. This table is a cry of despair in the face of people complacent in the face of a complacent world. It is perhaps a glimmer of hope for survivors who have gone through this hell, and that will, I hope, instil peace in their life. Paula Laflamme
