About The Artist

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. While majoring in art education with a minor in art history at SUNY New Paltz, I discovered the works of the French Impressionists, Italian Renaissance Masters, and the French Neo-Classicists and Realists. Their use of color and light and shadow had a profound influence on me. My work has been featured in several publications, including Art Is Spectrum, The New York Optimist, and the vol. 8 edition of International Contemporary Masters. I am currently showing at the Arts Arena Gallery in Delray Beach, Florida, where I am a resident artist, and I am also represented by The Art Fusion Galleries in Miami. I have had recent Shows at the Agora Gallery and the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in New York City. I have resided in South Florida for the past thirty-four years. Website: dbranitz.com
