In Afrikaans we do have a saying ”Mis voor die son” that refers to you problems that shall vanish, like the mist in front of the sun. This is a burning landscape with luxuries berries falling from the sky. There shall be no more beautiful berries left. To decorate a cake if one keeps in mind the ignorance of Marie Antoinette –‘Let them eat cake!’ The problem is a growing population and the yarning for personal gain.
