Pastels on recycled cardboard + various materials. Installation: site specific dimensions - Work: inch 44,48 x 75,98 Water flows on the work physically; the water turns the material permanently. With each new exhibition the work is subjected to further degradation, the metaphor of fragile lives, condemned to flee, to the suffering, despair and often death. A boat full of migrants at the mercy of the sea, where already in the pictorial sign is undergoing a process of metamorphosis, integrating the cardboard in the representation of bodies. The water is life. The water is death. Always the life and social organization are marked by the ever-changing, but in some critical steps in some socio-political or territorial contexts, the phenomenon becomes extremely acute. Political crises and environmental, in a globalized planet, economically and socially, represent the ultimate challenge of our species that, if not finds common objectives and common solutions, is destined to the last metamorphosis, its disappearance. Pastelli su cartone riciclato + materiali vari. Installazione: dimensioni site specific - Opera cm 113 x 193. L’acqua scorre fisicamente sull’opera; l’acqua trasforma definitivamente il materiale. Ad ogni nuova esposizione l’opera è sottoposta a un ulteriore degrado, metafora di vite fragili, condannate alla fuga, alla sofferenza, alla disperazione e spesso alla morte. Un barcone carico di migranti in balìa del mare, dove già nel segno pittorico è in atto un processo di metamorfosi, integrando il cartone nella rappresentazione dei corpi. L’acqua è vita. L’acqua è morte. Da sempre la vita e l’organizzazione sociale sono segnate dalla continua trasformazione, ma in alcuni passaggi critici, in alcuni contesti socio-politici e territoriali, il fenomeno si fa estremamente acuto. Crisi politiche e ambientali, in un pianeta globalizzato economicamente e socialmente, rappresentano la sfida ultima della nostra specie che, se non trova obiettivi comuni e comuni soluzioni, è destinata alla metamorfosi ultima, la sua sparizione.
