Painting: Watercolor on Paper. This painting is for sale. This floral is the product of a several step process that I enjoy immensely. I put down the background and let that dry. Then, after much staring at what emerges, I coax out shapes by adding and subtracting color. What gradually emerges over time is always a surprise and always an interesting journey. The medium is watercolor. I used Arches cold pressed 100% 140 lb. cotton paper. The dimensions of the painting are 12 x 16 inches.
