About The Artist

Born in 1947 in Hyogo Prefecture, a quilt artist, Kiyama exhibits original works “mola appliqué” and “lace mola” that combine the technique of reverse appliqué and stitching. Her work attracts fans for that appreciate the use of elements that are often avoided in this kind of work.
