Watercolours of my summer garden This semi abstract watercolour painting was inspired by memories of my garden; lush with growth and colour, my Aylesbury ducks foraging for slugs in the undergrowth. We raised 3 of the ducks from eggs hatched by an unsuspecting Marron hen who was sitting on her own eggs .They were named by my daughter - Tulip, Bunji and Jemima -The ducks are now sadly long gone to duck heaven , however I still grow sunflowers and poppies each summer . .
