This autumn Leonid Afremov’s painting Park Alley by the Lake is especially romantic. And all thanks to the paint that the artist used to create the autumn landscape – they are very precisely matched to convey the autumn mood. In the painting, we find such colors as purple, orange, and blue. The most unusual color in the painting is purple. The artist used it to depict the alley on the left of the painting, also in this fabulous forest we find colors such as orange and burgundy. The source of these colors is lanterns that stand along the sidewalk. The lake which is located on the right is painted in blue and turquoise colors. Thanks to these colors, we have an impression that it is still not completely dark but the lights have already been lit to disperse the evening fog. On the other side of the lake, we see several bright lights – perhaps it is evening cafes that lure visitors on this rainy autumn evening. Probably our characters will be pleased to sit over a cup of tea in a cozy atmosphere and chat about different things. Look how romantic these two look under the umbrella in this inclement weather – while walking along the embankment they forgot about everything in the world and think only of each other.
