Andrew's paint and sketches

Andrew Q. Fernandez, a resident of Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines, a father of two and currently working as an IT staff in a sugar firm. His early exposure to the world of art came from his father, a skilled artist, which ignited a profound passion for artistic expression within him. Over the years, Fernandez has consistently honed his talents, producing remarkable artwork that has garnered attention and acclaim. His participation in various art competitions has been noteworthy, with his notable achievements including securing a place in the finals of the GSIS National Art Competition in 2022. Despite not clinching a position the following year, his entry was admired and valuably sold during the exhibition. Venturing into national-level competitions, Fernandez achieved a top 10 ranking in the Klaypel Usbong in 2022 and the Wilhelmsfeld's Rizal Wine Label in 2023, with his entry being showcased in a prestigious exhibition in Wilhelmsfeld, Germany. In addition, in 2023, he participated in the PCSO Art Contest and received recognition as his entry was shortlisted. Notably, his artwork titled "Kadyot sa!" was also featured in a virtual exhibition at Art Show Philippines in August 2022. Finally, he achieved second place in ENRO's on-the-spot poster-making contest held at Ormoc City Hall in June 2021.

All paintings and artworks on display in this gallery are available for purchase. Some of the pieces were submitted to a contest but did not win, while others were recognized and achieved top honors.
