About The Artist

My name is Raldi Somers (1976) and I am trained as an economist, but work as a photographer and camera man for some time now. What started as a hobby during my trips, quickly became more than a hobby. From my home town Hillegom (The Netherlands), I travel the world. Travelling remains, but no longer just as a hobby. My work is appreciated (and luckily also bought) by private individuals as well as large multinational corporations, like Honda USA en Times Publishing (Hong Kong). I mostly photograph animals and landscapes, recently starting to focus more and more on panoramic photography. Both panoramas and other work are printed on various materials. Normally prints are made on dibond (plastic in an aluminum 'sandwich') behind acrylic glass or laminated dibond, but many other materials are possible (e.g. aluminum or forex). Prices given on the site are for either laminated dibond (most panoramas) or dibond behind acrylic glass ('normal' images). Although prices of other materials may be slightly lower, we recommend the 'default' material of dibond as this gives the best results with a stunning shiny finish. Prices for other materials are available on request. Although not every image is already printed, upon request for every image a print can be ready within a few days. If you have a specific request, please contact me to discuss the options (measurements, prices, delivery times etc.).
