My thoughts about justice and injustice at all levels of our society had brought my attention to some religious themes long time ago when I was a child. The style of my paintings is abstract. It allows me to expand the range of perception of my artworks. From this perspective some of my latest works can be seen as religious icons, as they depict saints. And also by its definition icon is any depiction of saints designed to excite people’s faith.
