About The Artist

I got my professional artistic start in New York City as an illustrator and graphic designer, working in the fashion industry, and in magazine and book publishing. Now living in Port Jervis, NY, I still create graphics, design, and illustration on my Mac computer and by hand. My fine art work primarily includes collage, assemblage, and mixed media painting. Always attracted to the dreamlike qualities of collage, I learned technique with Penney Umbrico and Joan Hall in NYC, and Jonathan Talbot in Warwick, NY. After taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology, School of Visual Arts, The New School, and Pratt Manhattan, I went to college full-time, graduating from SUNY New Paltz in 2007, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts and Graphic Design.
