About The Artist

TAKAHISA HASHIMOTO Hashimoto was born in 1974 in Fukui. Before he graduated from Senshu University, Faculty of Business Administration, he had started self teaching graphic design and began his career as a graphic designer/ art director in 1998. Whilst developing a number of ideas including brand campaign ads, TV spots and graphic work, he extended activity range into illustration in 2007. His work won New York based Society of Illustrators 51 Gold Medal (2008) and other domestic and international ad/illustration awards. His motto is always generating fresh, original and innovative, often disruptive, ideas. He is a member of Japan Graphic Designers Association, Society of Illustrators.
