About The Artist

I am passionate about life, and art. My art is huge part of my life, and huge part of that passion. I was born in the seaside township of Kawakawa, New Zealand, where I was raised in a farming environment. I have a love of the countryside, and outdoors, and I try to incorporate that love into my work. I also have a love of the ocean, and enjoy painting marine art. I have been sketching, drawing, and painting for as long as I can remember. I started painting seriously in the early 1980's, firstly painting in oils, and then acrylics. I migrated to Queensland, Australia in 1986, and in 2003, I discovered the beauty of watercolours and have added them to my portfolio I am an Urban Sketcher founding and managing the Brisbane Urban Sketchers group I founded and manage Brisbane plein Air painters (Australia)
