When he started school to learn to read, he chose a notebook with a cover that had a painting of a common man with his arms crossed. Much later he learned that it was a painting by Portinari: The Mestizo! That same year, his drawings about the development of a bean were published in the school newspaper. He has exhibited in Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Pernambuco, as well as India, Holland, Belgium and Japan. He won two awards in Vitória, Espírito Santo. One of them was for a 3 x 25 meter mural at the Carmélia de Souza Cultural Center. When he was in India, Master Osho included four of his paintings in two of his books. In 1999, he had 10 paintings from the IN-DIOS series published on CRT cards. He has had 26 solo exhibitions, participated in 36 group exhibitions and exhibited for 29 years at Brique da Redenção. His works are in the Gráfica Gaúcha III Catalogue, the Associação Chico Lisboa Catalogue and the Dicionário de Artes Plásticas do Rio Grande do Sul. He participated in the Museu do Trabalho Engraving Consortium and has three works at MARGS. Art every day!
