About The Artist

Since 2019, I have been creating and developing exclusive, one-off works of art in wood. Sculptures are my favorite form of expression, but I also work with wall arrangements.

Self-taught, I love organic shapes. They allow for multiple interpretations by different observers. It's extremely rewarding to provoke this kind of reflection.

I draw inspiration from the most varied elements of nature. Nature is one of my greatest admirations, along with design and wood.

Why wood?

In addition to the diversity of visual aspects, wood allows us to stimulate other human senses through its different scents and textures. Not to mention the feeling of comfort and coziness it provides and the infinite shapes and designs it allows, which is a challenge for the artist.

I prefer to use waste wood, demolition wood or wood from condemned trees. It's a way I see of revaluing this noble raw material which, unfortunately, is currently very unqualified and despised.

It's a graet pleasure to give new life to a pice of wood that was doomed to become firewood or rot over time.

Many times the design of the work to be developed is influenced by the natural shape of the piece of wood beeing used. It is a great responsability for the artist to give new form to something that has been carved for years by Mother Nature.

When it's not possible to use waste wood, I only use certified wood.

All the works are accompained by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, giving detaisl of the creation, the creative process and the execution, as well as basic information about the type of wood used.
