Sobre el Artista
American artist, Floyd Frazier, is a Los Angeles-area based painter who began painting for hobby in 2017, after retirement, and with no formal training. Still considering himself an emerging painter, Mr. Frazier’s works to-date, capture his interests, sprinkled with whimsicality, reflection, and parody in varying degrees. His works are recognized for improved depth and technique with each succeeding endeavor.
Since October 2019, Mr. Frazier’s works have exhibited almost continuously in galleries, such as: The Cloyde Snook Gallery, Adams State University, Alimosa, CO; The TAG Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Gallery 825, Los Angeles, CA; The Shotboxx Gallery, Hermosa Beach, CA; Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach and, b.j. Spoke Gallery, Huntington, NY. Additionally, two of Mr. Frazier’s works were “wait listed” (honorable mention) for exhibition at [Dab affiliated] PROYECTO GALERÍA Y PROYECTOS DE RESIDENCIA, Juarez, MX.
Two of Mr. Frazier’s paintings have been selected for publication in Los Angeles Art Association (Gallery 825)’s Volume 3 Catalogue, and another in the premier issue of Queer Quarterly. Mr. Frazier is an Artist Member of Los Angeles Art Association (Gallery 825), Tom of Finland Foundation and Saatchi Art.
