About The Artist


American artist, Floyd Frazier, is a Los Angeles-area based painter who began painting for hobby in 2017, after retirement, and with no formal training. Still considering himself an emerging painter, Mr. Frazier’s works to-date, capture his interests, sprinkled with whimsicality, reflection, and parody in varying degrees. His works are recognized for improved depth and technique with each succeeding endeavor. ​Since October 2019, Mr. Frazier’s works have exhibited almost continuously in galleries, such as: The Cloyde Snook Gallery, Adams State University, Alimosa, CO; The TAG Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Gallery 825, Los Angeles, CA; The Shotboxx Gallery, Hermosa Beach, CA; Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach and, b.j. Spoke Gallery, Huntington, NY. Additionally, two of Mr. Frazier’s works were “wait listed” (honorable mention) for exhibition at [Dab affiliated] PROYECTO GALERÍA Y PROYECTOS DE RESIDENCIA, Juarez, MX. ​Two of Mr. Frazier’s paintings have been selected for publication in Los Angeles Art Association (Gallery 825)’s Volume 3 Catalogue, and another in the premier issue of Queer Quarterly. Mr. Frazier is an Artist Member of Los Angeles Art Association (Gallery 825), Tom of Finland Foundation and Saatchi Art.
