Sobre el Artista

Legata alla sua terra, innamorata perdutamente del lago sulle cui sponde vive osserva costruisce folli set fotografici e compone i suoi versi, ha vissuto in diversi luoghi e praticato una sorta di nomadismo artistico che però l’ha sempre ricondotta- ad intermittenze più o meno lunghe- alla sua radice umbra. Alessandra Baldoni fotografa da quando aveva otto anni e scrive da sempre, inquieta curiosa appassionata trova nella parola l’ossatura del suo lavoro, usa la stessa macchina fotografica come un taccuino in cui annotare sogni accadimenti e visioni. Definisce le sue foto il risultato di “piccole sceneggiature scritte per uno scatto”, mette in scena veri e propri set, costruisce un mondo metafisico ed incantato, cerca di raccontare i luoghi dell’anima, quelle geografie esistenziali in cui ognuno può riconoscersi. I temi centrali della sua ricerca sono la memoria, il sogno, la favola e l’amore. Alessandra Baldoni predilige le immagini sospese che parlano agli occhi di chi guarda “sottovoce”, immagini misteriose che svelano qualcosa ma non tutto lasciano all’anima dello spettatore il compito di indagare e dare un nome al piccolo cortocircuito emotivo che viene a crearsi nelle sue foto. Simili a stampelle sentimentali in cui appendere il proprio abito, le sue foto si avvicinano per senso alla poesia: lievemente sfiorano le cose nominandole ma le lasciano avvolte nel loro segreto. .... Similar to emotional crutches in which to hang his clothes, his photos are approaching a sense of poetry: slightly touching things by naming them but leave them shrouded in secrecy.
